The old smithy at our family farm, in the picturesque village of Bampton, on the edge of Exmoor National Park, provides an ideal location for Original Forgery. This small forge was first operated many years ago to cater for the needs of the many farm horses used in the area but has remained dormant for nearly half a century. Today the farm buildings echo, once more, to the sound of hammer on anvil.
My aim is to provide you, the customer, with high quality, individually hand crafted products at competitive prices, manufactured and finished using traditional methods. Hopefully a refreshing alternative to mass produced ironwork found in the high street shops.
